Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at a weekly recap of headlines from a more national perspective, I’m still figuring out the recording aspect of it so bear with me. This is something that I will be trying to get out on Fridays, Friday is typically not a very busy news day, in the industry if someone wants a story to disappear, they publish them on Friday because people are preparing for the weekend and tuned out by then, so I feel like it will give me a chance to let anything from the week settle as immediate response is not always the best idea. Sometimes you want to give a story a day or two to let the full story develop. Below I will link the sources for all the topics covered.
Trump Assassin
The lead has to be that we had yet another assassination attempt of Donald Trump, it is truly shocking that we continue to get these, and I do not feel like this will be the last. The concerning thing is that this indicates that there is someone inside the Trump detail that is leaking information.

Diddy Arrested
Sean Combs aka Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or just Diddy, was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering, he is being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Worth pointing out that this was the same place disgraced financier Jeffery Epstein was being held, until the cameras stopped working, the guards fell asleep, and he killed himself by allegedly hanging himself. Combs has been in solitary confinement and is now on suicide watch, putting him on a similar timeline as Epstein. The lawsuits are detailed and graphic, this one is certainly not for the kids.

Israel Pager Attack
Israel has launched an attack that it has since been reported that has been 15 years in the making where they implanted C4 in some 3,000 pagers and were detonated killing 12 injuring thousands. This has led to Lebanon to respond and fears of escalation mount in the region.

Trump Rallygoers Hospitalized with Eye Condition
Not many details on this one, I just though that it was so bizarre that people all suffered the same ailment after attending a Trump rally in Tuscon, one woman was blinded for several hours. No cause for the condition has been identified as of yet.
