Hope you enjoy my conversation with John Cogill, candidate for Fairbanks North Star Borough mayor. John has previously served in the state legislature for 22 years, spending around ten years in the house and senate respectively. His experience as a state legislator makes him a leading candidate in this race with a clear vision for where he wants to take the borough through his leadership. This experience is something he will lean on when it comes to working with the legislators to accomplish the things that the borough cannot. He see’s economic growth and making Fairbanks great place for business and industry to prosper by deregulating and reducing the tax burden to lower the barrier to entry for the average person. Through the economic development he hopes to create a more affordable prosperous environment that will help slow the outmigration from not just the state but the city as well. If you would like to donate or volunteer to support John, you can visit his campaign site at www.coghillformayor.com.
